    • Our client, a business with over 100 years of history that deeply values the local community and fosters a culture of care, is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee and optimize its property portfolio while ensuring long-term value, sustainability, and alignment with community-focused objectives.
    • The Asset Manager will support the strategic direction of the multifamily portfolio by helping to shape and implement tailored business plans for each property, while also monitoring and analyzing overall portfolio performance to ensure strong financial and operational health.

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitor property performance against budgets and long-term goals through regular forecasting and analysis.
    • Track leasing, maintenance, and tenant satisfaction metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Conduct market research to align asset performance with local conditions, pricing, and competition.
    • Partner with Property Management to develop and review capital improvement plans.
    • Review and provide feedback on annual budgets prepared by Property Management.
    • Ensure compliance with legal agreements, including loan documents and partnership terms.
    • Coordinate with Property Management to address local regulations and inspection requirements.
    • Visit properties regularly to assess condition, maintenance, and overall operations.
    • Work with consultants on property tax assessments and appeals.
    • Communicate with investment partners and lenders on asset performance and key decisions.
    • Provide insights on leasing and operating trends to support future underwriting.
    • Contribute to internal and partner-led strategic planning and investment discussions.
    • Assist in setting rent and expense benchmarks for underwriting new acquisitions.
    • Travel required approximately 25–35% (typically 1–2 times per month).

    Qualifications:

    • BA or BS degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field preferred
    • 3+ years of asset management experience in conventional multifamily real estate required
    • Experience in both conventional multifamily and student housing preferred
    • Expert knowledge of Excel and return-on-investment concepts
    • Familiarity with real estate concepts related to multifamily operations and ownership
    • Ability to manage multiple projects at once

    Compensation:

    • Base salary to 115k/year, plus bonus
