  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Main Activities

    • Responsible for the successful operation of the operating portfolio, maximizing portfolio uptime while maintaining OPEX budget
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of the project assets, including revenue, interconnection, compliance and maintenance agreements
    • Manage and monitor compliance in all contracts and activities
    • Responsibility for data monitoring and SCADA systems across fleet
    • Track and present key performance indicators, performing data analysis as needed
    • Identify and track system performance issues and coordinate resolution with maintenance providers
    • O&M management, purchasing, parts planning, inventory tracking, inventory management, project file management, maintenance reporting, and outage summary log
    • Process warranty claims with vendors and suppliers as needed
    • Prepare periodic asset management reports (including operational and financial performance)
    • Identify and implement strategies for fleet optimization
    • Setup new projects in DAS system and manage portfolio dashboard reporting system
    • Interface with Construction team on upcoming development projects and support transition from construction into operating portfolio
    • Interface with land owners, utility and other stakeholders as needed
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • A record of academic and professional achievement, well developed communication skills, the ability to collaborate well with a small team, proven organizational acumen working on multiple projects, and a high level of motivation are vital in this role
    • Well versed in day to day operations of solar, BESS and hybrid facilities
    • Strong background in electrical systems (PV, BESS, substations)
    • Working knowledge of ISOs, specifically PJM, CAISO, WECC as well as NERC regulatory requirements for renewables
    • Strong background in Ignition based SCADA systems and DAS providers
    • Bachelor’s Degree required (Engineering preferred)
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
    • Detail oriented and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to continuously prioritize effectively
    • Prior experience in solar operations and maintenance, performance analytics, or technical asset management
