We are looking for an EXPERIENCED maintenance worker to join our team at a local St. Louis property management and real estate company.
As a property management company, we experience a high volume of work orders, most of which can be solved with a quick fix to an easy issue. The maintenance worker position works directly with the property manager to perform routine maintenance at various properties scheduled by the property manager.
To be an effective handyman, you need a wide range of repair and maintenance skills. A successful handyman is versatile enough to repair faulty appliances and toilets, fix minor electrical issues, remodel rooms, paint a building's exterior, and handle numerous other tasks. The maintenance position requires basic knowledge and experience in:
THE MAINTENANCE WORKER MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN WORK TRUCK, but is reimbursed for gasoline and vehicle expense.
MUST ALSO HAVE OWN TOOLS NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE TASKS.
There is no formal education requirement for this position, but the position will require some basic math and spelling skills, neat handwriting, organization and time management skills, as well as friendly customer service. The maintenance worker position is a contractor/ independent worker position paid per job at an hourly wage + service call fees.
