Your Story

At ThxPhil, our Assistant Account Manager role is designed for professionals with a strong work ethic, curiosity, and a desire to grow into more senior client management responsibilities. You’ll work closely with an Account Manager or the CEO, handling foundational tasks that keep our client accounts running smoothly without being solely responsible for independent decision-making or full client ownership.
What You'll Be Doing
Weekly Responsibilities
• Assist with responding to daily client and internal emails, escalating items as needed to your lead Account Manager.
• Generate basic Agillink reports for review by the Account Manager.
• Support transaction categorization and vendor bill processing.
• Prepare bank deposits with review from your lead.
• Maintain and update weekly checklists for assigned clients.
• Answer incoming calls, gather information, and direct to the appropriate team member.
Monthly Responsibilities
• Send credit card statements to clients for review and categorization.
• Assist in compiling monthly cash flow and reconciliation reports for review before client delivery.
• Save finalized reports to OneDrive, ensuring correct file naming and organization.
Annual Responsibilities
• Assist with preparation of year-end reconciliation and reporting.
• Provide administrative support during annual tax preparation.
Requirements
• Internship OR minimum 6 months of business management, bookkeeping, or accounting experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Experience with Agillink is a plus, but training will be provided.
Nice to Haves
• Bachelor’s Degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Entertainment industry experience.
• Experience in a professional office or client service environment.
Expectations
• Follow established workflows and escalate issues promptly to your lead Account Manager.
• Maintain accurate records and organized files.
• Complete assigned tasks by agreed-upon deadlines.
• Respond to client and team communications in a timely, professional manner.
