About the Role:

Join our passionate team at Nothing Bundt Cakes #80 in Overland Park, KS, as an Assistant Bakery Manager! This exciting position offers the opportunity to lead a team in creating delicious, handcrafted cakes while ensuring a delightful experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Bakery Manager in daily operations and team leadership.

Ensure high-quality cake production and presentation standards are met.

Oversee inventory management and supply ordering.

Train and mentor team members on baking techniques and customer service.

Maintain cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Support customer service efforts and resolve any guest concerns.

Help develop and implement marketing strategies to boost sales.

Assist in scheduling and managing staff shifts effectively.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment preferred.

Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Detail-oriented with a passion for baking and cake decoration.

Basic math skills for inventory and cash handling.

High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree is a plus.
