The DoubleTree by Hilton is currently seeking an Assistant Banquet Manager to join the team. In this role, the Assistant Banquet Manager partners with the Banquet Manager to plan and deliver successful events. Responsibilities include supervising banquet staff, coordinating event logistics with catering and culinary teams, and ensuring exceptional service standards. The position also involves leading shifts, scheduling and training team members, addressing client needs, managing inventory, and ensuring full compliance with hotel policies and safety guidelines. Compensation: $14–$16 per hour, plus gratuities Responsibilities: • In support of or in the absence of the Banquet Manager, direct the proper set-up and breakdown of all banquet functions. • Ensure employee and guest safety during the set-up and arrangement of banquet functions. • Direct the proper service of food and beverages in accordance with contractual agreements. • Conducts pre-function meetings with staff to ensure proper service and meet the requirements of banquet functions. • Directs and ensures the proper handling, usage, and storage of all banquet equipment and supplies. • Greets and maintains communication with the customer contact regarding payment. Qualifications: • Previous banquet lead or supervisory experience. Compensation: $14 - $16 hourly + gratuities
