    The DoubleTree by Hilton is Hiring an Assistant Banquet Manager. The Assistant Banquet Manager supports the Banquet Manager in planning and executing events by overseeing banquet staff, coordinating logistics with other departments like catering and culinary, and ensuring high-quality service. This role involves leading shifts, managing staff schedules and training, handling client needs, maintaining inventory, and ensuring adherence to all hotel policies and safety standards. Compensation: $14 - $16 per hour, plus gratuities. Responsibilities: • In support of or in the absence of the Banquet Manager, direct the proper set-up and breakdown of all banquet functions. • Ensure employee and guest safety during the set-up and arrangement of banquet functions. • Direct the proper service of food and beverages in accordance with contractual agreements. • Conducts pre-function meetings with staff to ensure proper service and meet the requirements of banquet functions. • Directs and ensures the proper handling, usage, and storage of all banquet equipment and supplies. • Greets and maintains communication with the customer contact regarding payment. Qualifications: • Previous banquet lead or supervisory experience. Compensation: $14 - $16 hourly + gratuities
