Encinitas is a low-traffic but highly visible branch—executive leadership sits on site—so the bank needs a polished Assistant Branch Manager who can deliver flawless operations, strong customer service, and the professionalism expected in a flagship-style location. This role stays in the “pipeline” unless the right candidate surfaces.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Branch Manager with operational oversight, customer service, and light relationship work.
Maintain an exceptionally professional branch environment; senior leaders interact with this location daily.
Manage day-to-day processes, approvals, and operational accuracy in a low-volume setting.
Take on additional projects or cross-branch responsibilities since customer volume is modest.
Serve as a consistent, polished point of contact for walk-ins and internal stakeholders.
Branch Context
Walk-in traffic: approx. 8–12 customers/week.
Senior leadership (including the bank president) is on site.
Expectations for presence, polish, and composure are higher than in typical branches.
Profile Requirements
Strong branch banking and operations background.
High professionalism—can communicate confidently with executives.
Thoughtful, poised, and able to pass a rigorous interview process with AJ/Tommy.
Capable of taking on project-based work in a slow branch.
