    The Information Technology Systems team is seeking an experienced Assistant Business Systems Analyst. This position assists in developing and maintaining program and product builds for key business information systems for The Henry Ford. This role involves gathering and analyzing user requests, requirements, and goals to deliver effective solutions. The Assistant Business Systems Analyst assists with testing, troubleshooting, prototyping, developing functional specifications, and coding program logic. With a solid understanding of business processes, this position plays a crucial role in analyzing system requirements and supporting system improvements. The Assistant Business Systems Analyst is also involved in user security/authorization setup, documentation, and solution implementation.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Provide Tier 1 operational support for the Accesso Siriusware/Passport Point-of-Sale systems, addressing user issues and coordinating with vendors for timely resolutions
    • Open cases and coordinates with Accesso to resolve user or operational issues
    • Assist in maintaining and configuring major business systems, including Ticketing, Admissions, and Memberships, by building out system functionalities to meet user requirements
    • Manipulate, code, test and release configuration in the systems, including pricing tables, coding program logic, layouts, HTML, XML, product matrices
    • Help coordinate user acceptance testing and system enhancements, assisting with the creation of testing environments and scenarios
    • Support process improvement initiatives by utilizing business information systems, identifying areas for innovation, and assisting in project execution
    • Participate in user meetings to gather feedback, assist in defining technical requirements, support release schedules, and help develop reporting formats
    • Assist in the development of prototype functionalities and refine system modules based on user feedback
    • Document business requirements, system modifications, and maintain detailed records of changes and vendor interactions
    • Assist with system configurations and provide network-based server support for business applications
    • Collaborate with the ITS Help Desk to troubleshoot user issues related to system functionality, credit card processing, data management, reporting, etc.
    • Provide system support for other key business applications, such as NetSuite, RE NXT -Blackbaud, Cvent, etc. as needed
    • Collaborate effectively with team members and business users, providing necessary support and expertise
    • Perform additional tasks as required, ensuring aspects of the Business Systems are managed effectively

    Your Qualifications

    • 1-2 years of experience in an information systems analyst or support role, preferably as a system administrator for a business system
    • Basic understanding of financial data and database concepts
    • Experience with programming languages, database systems, or report writing is a plus
    • Familiarity with XML, HTML, and light coding for business system configurations
    • Ability to work in Microsoft server environments to configure software and manage user access
    • Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office tools, with the ability to manipulate SQL data for reporting
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
