    Position Overview

    Supporting one of the largest QSR brands, the Assistant Cafe Manager will support daily operations, develop your team, and help drive strong business results in a high-energy operation. You’ll work closely with the Cafe Manager to ensure smooth operations while gaining the experience needed to grow into a leadership role.

    Key Responsibilities

    Team Leadership

    Assist with recruiting, hiring, and training team members

    Lead by example and work alongside the team during shifts

    Provide coaching and feedback to support team development and a positive team culture

    Hold team members accountable for performance and behavior

    Operations & Guest Experience

    Create a guest-first culture and lead by example to deliver excellent service

    Maintain brand standards, cleanliness, and food safety

    Address guest feedback and support service improvements

    Business & Financial Performance

    Support sales growth through execution of promotions and initiatives

    Help manage labor, food costs, and cash handling

    Track performance and assist in achieving business goals

    Administrative & Operational Support

    Assist with scheduling, payroll, inventory, and ordering

    Complete basic reporting and administrative tasks

    Support and step in for the Store/Restaurant Manager as needed

    What We’re Looking For

    Prior management or leadership experience in restaurant, retail, or customer-facing environment (QSR preferred)

    Strong communication and teamwork skills with a demonstrated understanding of confidentiality

    Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on role

    Basic math, problem-solving, and computer skills

    High school diploma (or equivalent)

    ServSafe Certification (preferred)

    What to Expect

    Flexible schedule (including early mornings, weekends, holidays)

    On your feet most of the shift (candidates should be able to sit, stand, traverse, etc. for up to 12 hours and lift up to 50lbs.)
