    Position Summary

    Mathnasium is looking for an Assistant Center Director to create an engaging and productive learning experience for students while simultaneously focusing on the sales component of our business. The ideal candidate is sales-oriented, detail-oriented, exudes a positive demeanor, enthusiastic, motivated, and approachable. They are passionate about helping students learn math and achieve educational success.

    This is a part-time role with flexible hours and will report directly to the District Director.

    $20-$25/hour

    Schedule

    Mon–Thur: 3 PM–8 PM

    Sat/Sun: 11 AM–2 PM

    You Will

    Conduct free assessments for prospective students/families

    Convert free assessments into paying customers

    Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices

    Cultivate a clean, nurturing, passionate and fun environment for our families and staff by providing a white-glove customer experience

    Lead and inspire employees to adopt workplace culture

    Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting

    Oversee students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions

    Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes

    You Bring

    Passion for math and exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I

    Exceptional customer, interpersonal and organizational skills

    Willingness to learn and be trained

    Willingness to develop leadership abilities

    Ability to balance various ongoing tasks

    Proficiency in computer skills

    All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.
