    • Our client is an established residential construction company specializing in custom luxury homes throughout the Santa Barbara area. Their team is known for delivering high-quality craftsmanship, detailed project execution, and exceptional client service. They are seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager to support the successful delivery of high-end residential construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
    • This role is ideal for a construction professional with experience in custom homebuilding who enjoys working closely with project managers, subcontractors, architects, designers, and homeowners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the Project Manager with the planning, coordination, and execution of custom residential construction projects
    • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, architects, and design professionals throughout all phases of construction
    • Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting notes, contracts, and project schedules
    • Utilize Procore and other construction management software to maintain project records and facilitate communication
    • Monitor project progress and assist with scheduling activities to support project milestones
    • Attend project meetings and site visits to document progress and communicate updates to stakeholders
    • Assist with quality control efforts to ensure construction meets design specifications and project standards
    • Support budget tracking, procurement activities, and project reporting
    • Maintain strong communication with project teams, clients, architects, and trade partners throughout the construction process

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of experience in custom residential construction, luxury residential construction, high-end residential construction, or a related construction environment
    • Experience supporting construction projects as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, Field Engineer, Construction Coordinator, or similar role
    • Experience managing construction documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project schedules
    • Experience using construction management software; Procore experience strongly preferred
    • Working knowledge of residential construction methods, building materials, and construction processes
    • Strong organizational, project coordination, and documentation skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, architects, and clients

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 72k - 115k/year range
