A growing asset management firm in Midtown Manhattan is seeking an Assistant Controller to join its corporate finance team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of consolidations across multiple entities, contribute to process improvements, and gain visibility with senior leadership in a dynamic, expanding platform.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the monthly and quarterly consolidation process across domestic and international entities

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP

• Oversee general ledger activity and ensure accuracy of intercompany transactions

• Support external audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements

• Partner with FP&A and operations on process enhancements and system improvements

• Assist in developing internal controls and reporting frameworks

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus)

• 5–8 years of accounting experience, ideally in asset management, financial services, or public accounting

• Strong knowledge of consolidations and multi-entity reporting

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
