Assistant Controller | Hollywood, CA | Luxury Retail | $170K–$200K

Our client is one of the most iconic luxury brands in the world, handcrafted in LA, distributed globally, and built on a founder-led culture that runs on craftsmanship and accountability. They're bringing on an Assistant Controller to own the accounting function from the inside out. This isn't a seat-warmer role. You'll drive close process, lead a team of four, and work directly with senior leadership in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where the work is visible and the stakes are real.

Location: Hollywood, CA — 5 days on-site, no exceptions

Compensation: $170,000–$200,000 base + bonus + benefits

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience with direct supervisory responsibility (4+ reports)
• Proven ownership of month-end close — not participation, ownership
• Exposure to inventory accounting, COGS, and/or multi-entity/international consolidations
• Background in manufacturing, retail, consumer products, luxury goods, or apparel
• GAAP fluency and internal controls experience
• CPA preferred; D365 experience a plus
