The Assistant Controller will:
Oversee, streamline, and improve month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards
Lead and implement the integration of a new ERP system
Strengthen internal controls and SOX compliance
Manage AP/AR, including automation and process improvement
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
Lead, train, and assist staff accountants to perform month-end close tasks and other daily accounting functions, ensuring compliance with internal controls
Assess, recommend, and implement best practices to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of accounting processes
Participate in cross-functional process improvement teams
What You Bring to the Table:
Bachelor’s in related field
6+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
ERP implementation expertise
Location: Nashville (Burton Hills area of Green Hills) role is primarily onsite, with flexibility to accommodate family needs.
Compensation: Base salary: $140,000 - $158,000 + Bonus (paid out over target last yr)
