Position Overview

The Assistant Director plays a critical leadership role in instructional excellence, staff development, curriculum implementation, and regulatory compliance. This position supports the Director in overall program management while directly impacting teaching quality, classroom performance, and team culture.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coach teaching staff through structured classroom observations, actionable feedback, and individualized mentoring

Oversee and ensure strong implementation of The Creative Curriculum

Train and onboard new staff members with clarity, consistency, and high standards

Design and implement ongoing professional development plans

Monitor lesson plan quality, classroom environments, and child development outcomes

Promote developmentally appropriate practice across all age groups

Support the Director in overall program management

Assist in overseeing and coordinating daily operations to ensure efficiency and excellence

Ensure full compliance with licensing regulations and all state requirements

Maintain and elevate program quality standards across classrooms and administrative systems

Foster a high-expectation, positive, and accountable professional culture
