The Owner's and an Executive Director are actively involved in supporting all staff and the needs of two schools. The on site leadership team consists of a Director, Assistant Director, Education Coach, and Administrative Assistant, a full team ready to support one another and the needs of the school. We have approximately 33 teaching staff to support 11 classrooms and our ratio's aligns with our National and State Accreditation Requirements.     Benefits: (Full Time employees only)

    Assistant Director starting pay is $38,000 - $40,000 based on experience and education

    Consistent Schedule : Monday - Friday

    *The T.E.A.C.H scholarship through TWC is available to ALL full time staff. Our corporate sponsorship provides you the opportunity to earn an Associate or Bachelor degree in Child Development/Early Childhood/Child and Family Studies at a public university in Texas. Due to added incentives there is no financial cost to the recipient. This Partnership is based on TWC receiving grant funding.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Create a culture of support and belongingness within the school (for staff, families and children).

    Cultivate an environment committed to health and safety.

    Learn all essential functions for each position in the school so you can support and inspire.

    Ensures expectations are met with the overall supervision and daily class functions of the school.

    Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.

    Participates in the planning and attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions.

    Maintains overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the Employee Handbook

    Conducts prospect tours with confidence and manages the initial enrollment of each family.

    Assist the Director to ensure maximum enrollment and effective cost control.

    Assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary.

    Accepts responsibility for the school in the absence of the School Director.

    Desired skills and experience:

    Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency, state and national accreditation guidelines

    Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred

    Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children

    Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.

    College Education in Early Childhood preferred

    Eligible for Texas Director License preferred
