    As Assistant Director, you’ll help lead our nationally accredited private preschool while working alongside a collaborative team committed to providing exceptional early learning experiences.     What You’ll Do:

    Support School Leadership & Operations

    Help oversee day-to-day operations of the school and serve as acting Director in their absence

    Uphold Primrose and state licensing standards to ensure a safe, nurturing environment

    Manage staff schedules, payroll, billing, and reporting

    Collaborate on strategies to grow enrollment and support family satisfaction

    Develop and Inspire Staff

    Lead by example, modeling professionalism, accountability, and compassion

    Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts

    Coach and mentor teachers through classroom observations and professional development

    Foster a positive, inclusive culture that empowers educators to thrive

    Deliver Curriculum & Classroom Excellence

    Ensure fidelity to the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum

    Assist with lesson planning, classroom quality checks, and developmental assessments

    Support teachers with behavior management, parent communication, and instructional strategies

    Promote Family & Community Engagement

    Create strong connections with enrolled families through regular communication and events

    Promote school events and initiatives via social media, newsletters, and local partnerships

    Collaborate with our leadership team to represent Primrose in the greater community

    Qualifications:

    Meet all local childcare licensing requirements and Primrose Schools standards

    Degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or related field strongly preferred

    Minimum 2 years’ experience in a licensed early childhood program

    Prior leadership or management experience in education or childcare setting preferred

    Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and meet physical demands of the role
