    Assistant Director / Program Leader – Preschool

    Under the Magic Pine Tree is opening a new preschool campus in Reno, Nevada, and we are seeking a thoughtful and dependable Assistant Director / Program Leader to help support the launch of this location.

    This role is ideal for an experienced early childhood educator who enjoys mentoring teachers, maintaining beautiful classroom environments, and building strong relationships with families.

    During the early phase of the school’s opening, this position will include both classroom teaching and leadership responsibilities as the school grows.

    Responsibilities

    The Assistant Director / Program Leader will work closely with the Director to support the daily operation of the school and help build a strong teaching team as enrollment grows.

    Responsibilities include:

    • supporting classroom environments and daily routines • mentoring and supporting teachers • assisting with tours and family communication • helping maintain organized and inviting classroom environments • supporting licensing and operational procedures • helping build program culture during the school’s launch

    Qualifications

    • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred • Candidates currently working toward a CDA or early childhood degree may also be considered • Experience working in a preschool or early childhood program • Experience as a Lead Teacher or similar leadership role preferred

    Compensation

    $19 – $22 per hour depending on experience
