We are seeking a passionate and proactive leader to support daily school operations while maintaining excellence in early childhood education. This role works closely with the Director to help lead a talented team, ensure compliance with licensing requirements, implement curriculum, and build meaningful connections with families and the community.

Assistant Director Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Administration:
Support the Director and franchisee in community outreach efforts and customer relationship building
Assist with maintaining a professional online presence, including LinkedIn
Welcome visitors, assist with tours, and help lead family orientations
Support school communication systems, including daily reports, newsletters, and event reminders
Help maintain school schedules, including faculty schedules and event calendars
Staff Management:
Assist with employee records, including onboarding, timecards, and performance tracking
Support recruitment efforts, including interviewing and onboarding new teachers
Help coordinate professional development, faculty meetings, and training sessions
Provide guidance and support to teachers to maintain a positive work environment
Curriculum and Program Support:
Assist in ensuring educational programs meet the needs of all children
Support teachers in implementing curriculum and lesson planning
Help maintain classroom standards and student transition processes
Family and Community Engagement:
Build and maintain positive relationships with families
Address parent questions and escalate concerns to the Director when needed
Support community outreach initiatives and partnerships
Financial and Operational Support:
Assist the Director with enrollment efforts and administrative tasks
Support efficient use of school resources
Health and Safety:
Help ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, staff, and visitors
Assist with safety drills and emergency preparedness
Support daily opening and closing procedures, including safety checks and facility readiness
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or related field preferred
2–5 years of leadership experience in a childcare setting (Assistant Director or similar role preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of child development and early childhood education best practices
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
Positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills
Passion for working with children and supporting educators
