    Position Description:

    Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Brand Management, the Assistant Director of Marketing will develop content for multiple channels and execute marketing plans that advance the University's brand awareness and enrollment objectives. The ability to craft innovative, captivating, and fresh marketing content with a recruitment focus is highly sought after. Responsibilities include conducting interviews, copywriting, building emails within our admission CRM, basic graphic design, and packaging content for recruitment outreach, websites, advertisements, social media, and print materials. The assistant director of marketing will craft stories, messaging, and visuals that promote the University to prospective students and families, ensuring uniformity in branding and consistent adherence to editorial and brand standards for all materials.

    Major Responsibilities:

    • **** Write, publish, and distribute branded content, including email marketing, print publications, website copy, blog posts, social media posts, and other content to recruit and retain students. Includes conducting journalistic interviews and research as well as drafting copy for review using AI, ChatGPT, Grammarly, and other programs and emerging technologies.
    • Oversee regular audits of key enrollment-focused webpages and ongoing development and maintenance of critical web content targeting prospective students, their families, and their influencers.
    • Create designs to support enrollment marketing projects, including email headers, social media graphics, and other visual elements.
    • Ensure that all content produced meets editorial and brand style guidelines, is accurate, adheres to messaging and tone guidelines, and is optimized for SEO as necessary. Participate in the internal quality control review process.
    • Participate in story-generation meetings, brainstorming sessions, department meetings, project initiation meetings, and editorial meetings. Research emerging trends and present ideas to colleagues and department leadership.

    Required Knowledge and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
    • 2-4 years of relevant experience
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Comfortable creating designs for digital applications
    • A solid portfolio that demonstrates skills in developing creative marketing content for a variety of audiences
    • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask and think critically
    • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, collaborative environment
    • Self-starter with excellent project management abilities who can shepherd projects from concept to completion
    • Knowledge of AP Style
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite

    Other Qualifications:

    • Previous higher education experience
    • Experience with a CRM platform such as Slate Technolutions

  • Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Technical or associate’s degree or a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in maintaining industrial equipment (robotics, controls, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical) Experience on equipment and automation consistent with a sheet metal fabrication, and painting operation preferred

    Strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of codes and regulations as they apply to an industrial maintenance role

    Ability to interpret drawings, schematics and machine specifications

    Excellent organizational and communication skills, good attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
