Position:
The ideal Assistant Fitness Manager will be primarily responsible for driving studio sales and memberships. This role is comprised of 80-90% sales and 10-20% staff management and studio operations.
At SLX an Assistant Fitness Manager is a proven sales leader who exudes strength of character, passion and humility, and knows how to create an amazing culture to get the best performance from his team. Previous military or competitive coaching experience will help you excel in this role. You must lead by example in generating leads and referrals, passionate sales presentations, and show you can duplicate yourself through the development of your team. This job is 45-50 hours a week, and most shifts will be evenings and weekends. The purpose of the AFM position is to ultimately develop into a General Manager.
Compensation:
Assistant Fitness Managers are on a salary of $45,000/year and will earn monthly bonuses of up to an additional $800/month. If you earn the right to be a General Manager, the salary is $60,000/year with monthly bonuses up to $3,000/month!

Responsibilities:
Lead generation including Grass Roots Marketing and Networking
Implement a sales process to schedule prospects into Intro class
Drive Membership sales through outside sales and business development efforts
Directly coordinate with all vendors, ensuring that studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts
Supervise Sales Representatives and Flexologists
Proficiency in ClubReady, to include revenue reports, attendance reports, etc.

Requirements:
Must have a relevant degree, license or certification in the wellness/fitness space
2+ years of fitness sales experience or membership sales preferred
Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Reps in sales
Ability to work independently and collaborate with studio owner
Ability to manage and drive all revenue streams from membership sales to retail
Excellent communication and strong writing and interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via email
Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment
Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment
An affinity and passion for fitness
Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Professional, punctual, reliable and neat
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
