    The Assistant Front of House Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front-of-house area within our establishment. This position requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has a keen understanding of hospitality management. The Assistant Front of House Manager will oversee daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. Must be comfortable working up to 50 hours a week and must be able to work weekends.

    We are a Scratch Kitchen , serving Comfort Food we are looking for experienced line cook with breakfast experience and the ability to cook from a recipe . We are a fast paced order driven kitchen.

    Duties

    Assist in managing daily front-of-house operations to ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction.

    Hire, supervise and train front-of-house staff, fostering a positive team environment.

    Oversee shift management, ensuring adequate staffing levels and efficient workflow during peak hours.

    Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including beer, liquor and wine selections, to provide informed recommendations to guests.

    Implement budgeting strategies to optimize operational efficiency while maintaining quality service standards.

    Utilize Toast POS and other restaurant management systems for order processing and inventory management.

    Accurately calculate cost of goods for beer, liquor and wine.

    Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally, enhancing overall guest experience.

    Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

    Skills

    Strong background in hospitality management with proven experience in restaurant or bar environments.

    Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.

    Proficient in shift management, demonstrating leadership qualities to motivate and guide team members.

    Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial oversight within a restaurant setting.

    Experience using Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable.

    Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

    Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when necessary
