The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in all aspects of daily operations, including team development, guest satisfaction, and inventory management. This is a hybrid role that includes both management responsibilities and serving several nights per week. The right candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Follow and execute all core processes for opening and closing the restaurant
Managing all employees and following up with them to make sure all side work core processes are complete prior to opening and prior to departing
Preparing the cash drawer prior to opening on opening shifts
Manage shifts which include: daily decision making, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness
Assist with hourly positions as well as catered events
Follow all core processes in menu maintenance and development
Assisting General Manager with counting and processing of monthly inventory
Assisting the General Manager with monthly wine dinners and classes
Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues
Responsible for overseeing training program
Work with bartenders to submit seasonal cocktail menus
Ambition and continued self study of Italian wines, spirits and food
Must be able to stand for longer periods of time and able to lift items up to 45 lbs.
