As the Hotel Assistant General Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role in ensuring the hotel's daily operations run seamlessly. With minimal supervision, you will exercise independent judgment to optimize operations while upholding our vision, mission, and values. This self-starter position requires 24-hour availability and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences through effective team leadership and operational management. Responsibilities: • Perform administrative duties in the office such as payroll, bank deposits, understanding budget management to maximize revenues, and follow up on operational checklists and safety training • Planning maintenance work, events, and room bookings • Walk/be present on property, especially during shift changes, to ensure daily priorities are communicated, which will equip individuals and the team for success • Handle guest complaints and queries promptly and professionally to uphold service excellence. • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and licensing laws Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED; one to three years of relevant experience or equivalent education and training. • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint • Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Compensation: $18 - $22 hourly
