Assistant General Manager
As the Hotel Assistant General Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role in ensuring the hotel's daily operations run seamlessly. With minimal supervision, you will exercise independent judgment to optimize operations while upholding our vision, mission, and values. This self-starter position requires 24-hour availability and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences through effective team leadership and operational management. Responsibilities: • Inspect guest rooms and "back of house" areas to ensure brand and company standards are being met • Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Handling customer complaints and queries • Train, mentor, and supervise staff across various departments to ensure alignment with organizational standards. • Planning maintenance work, events, and room bookings Qualifications: • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and project management skills. • High school diploma or GED; one to three years of relevant experience or equivalent education and training. • Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret business correspondence, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations Compensation: $40,000 - $50,000 yearly
