Assistant General Manager
Interurban Suites Hotel is seeking a versatile, hands‑on Assistant General Manager to support daily operations at our 85‑room extended‑stay property in Tukwila. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and takes pride in maintaining high standards across all departments. The AGM works closely with the GM/COO and on‑site leaders to ensure smooth, efficient operations across the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities Support the general manager in overseeing the hotel's daily operations. Lead by example with a hands-on approach to coordinating the front desk, housekeeping and maintenance teams. Train, coach, and support staff to uphold Wyndham brand standards. Handle escalated guest concerns professionally and confidently. Monitor room readiness, cleanliness and inventory levels. Act as Manager on Duty when the GM is off property.
Prefered qualifications
Wyndham hotel experience strongly preferred, with familiarity in brand standards, systems, and QA processes.
3-5 years of progressive hotel or resort operations experience, with at least 3 years in a hands‑on supervisory or management role.
Demonstrated record of being a present, floor‑focused leader rather than primarily office‑based.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport across diverse teams and locations.
Proven problem‑solving skills and a willingness to step into operational gaps and “do what’s needed” in real time.
Proficiency with hotel property management systems; experience with extended‑stay and/or multi‑property operations is a plus.
What We Offer
Competitive pay range of $24–30 per hour, depending on experience
Collaborative, hands‑on work environment with direct access to ownership and the GM/COO and clear decision‑making authority on the floor.
Career growth potential within a multi‑property hospitality group, including future leadership opportunities as we continue to expand.
Employee discounts on lodging and spa services, plus participation in property‑specific wellness and staff appreciation initiatives where available.
To apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant Wyndham, extended-stay, and wellness hospitality experience.
