Location: Libertyville, IL (Chicago North Suburbs) Schedule: Full-time, including weekdays and one weekend shift per week Compensation: $45,000–$55,000, including performance bonuses + PTO + benefits

We are looking for a mission-driven Assistant General Manager to help lead our team, support families, and grow our membership community.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Center Operations & Leadership
Support the General Manager in daily operations, scheduling, and center performance.
Ensure safety, cleanliness, and brand consistency across the facility.
Oversee front desk operations including check-in, parent inquiries, and transactions.
Hands-on coaching 5–10 classes weekly using KidStrong’s curriculum.
Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating coaching staff.
Sales & Community Engagement
Drive lead follow-up, trial conversion, and membership sales.
Engage families and create memorable, high-value experiences
Build lasting relationships with families that keep them coming back
Support scheduling and promotion of camps, events, and parties.
Represent KidStrong at community events to increase awareness and inquiries.
Culture & Relationships
Model KidStrong values in every interaction—with coaches, kids, and parents.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high energy.
Provide clear, consistent communication to staff and leadership.
Requirements
Passion for children’s development and energetic environments.
Leadership or supervisory experience in retail, fitness, or kids’ services preferred.
Strong sales and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Physically able to participate in active play with kids.
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Preferred: Experience in child development, boutique fitness, or franchise operations.
