We are redefining the spa industry by creating a space where people can recharge and resume life in a more balanced state of mind.

    We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant General Manager (AGM) to facilitate all aspects of studio operation, including staff management, client relations, financial performance, and service excellence. To be successful in this role you must have a passion for wellness, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to upholding the client-centered, wellness-first culture that defines Pause.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Operations & Studio Support

    Manage and maintain back-of-house supply inventory, ensuring appropriate stock levels and timely reordering.

    Oversee the upkeep and regular maintenance of wellness equipment and studio facilities.

    Use Asana work management system to track tasks, assign responsibilities, and ensure operational workflows are completed effectively.

    Support the implementation of studio policies and procedures that uphold Pause's high standards for cleanliness, safety, and service excellence.

    Team Coordination & Culture Building

    Assist with staff scheduling, shift coverage, and time-off requests to ensure optimal coverage.

    Support onboarding and training efforts for new team members.

    Collaborate with the GM to help monitor team performance and ensure alignment with company values.

    Contribute to building and maintaining a positive, inclusive, and empowering studio culture that promotes team well-being, accountability, and connection.

    Client Relations & CRM Management

    Serve as a secondary point of contact for minor client complaints, resolving issues quickly and professionally to maintain a positive client experience.

    Maintain accurate and organized client data using CRM systems, supporting retention and outreach strategies.

    Ensure a consistently high level of customer service across all touchpoints and interactions.

    Provide support on the floor during peak hours to uphold service quality.

    Event & Community Engagement Support

    Assist in planning and executing in-studio events, workshops, and community wellness initiatives.

    Help coordinate grassroots outreach efforts to build brand awareness and develop local partnerships.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    2+ years of experience in wellness, hospitality, retail, or studio management.

    Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail.

    Familiarity with Asana or similar project management tools and CRM systems for client tracking and communication.

    Demonstrated strength in customer service, with a professional, calm, and client-first approach.

    Experience managing inventory, schedules, or equipment maintenance is highly preferred.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

    Passion for wellness and interest in the Pause mission.

    Demonstrated ability to contribute to or lead in a positive team culture.
