We are seeking a highly experienced hospitality leader to join our management team in a senior, hands-on role overseeing event execution, service operations, staff leadership, and active participation in sales.
This is not a support or training role. This position requires 10+ years of hospitality management experience and proven ability to run events, lead teams, and confidently engage clients during the sales process, including leading venue tours.
If you have not personally managed live events, directed service teams, or led client-facing sales conversations, this role will not be the right fit.
This position requires consistent on-site presence for evenings and weekends. We are seeking candidates who live within approximately 45 minutes of the venue, ideally within Westchester County or neighboring counties.

Core Responsibilities
Event & Service Operations
Act as lead on-site manager for weddings, private events, and special functions
Run events from load-in through breakdown with authority and attention to detail
Manage timing, guest flow, staffing, and service standards during live events
Resolve issues calmly and independently in real time
Maintain exceptional guest experience at all times
Staff Leadership & Management
Lead, schedule, and oversee front-of-house and event staff
Set clear expectations and enforce service and professionalism standards
Train, coach, and hold staff accountable
Address performance issues directly and professionally
Foster a culture of pride, consistency, and teamwork
Sales, Client Experience & Business Development
Lead venue tours for prospective clients and serve as a trusted operational expert
Confidently discuss food, service, staffing, logistics, and event execution during sales conversations
Actively influence booking decisions through leadership presence and credibility
Translate client vision into realistic, executable plans that reinforce value
Collaborate with the sales team on strategy, follow-up, and conversion
Identify opportunities for enhancements, upgrades, and service improvements that increase revenue
Maintain continuity between sales, planning, and live event execution
Facilities & Operational Oversight
Ensure venue readiness before, during, and after events
Coordinate with facilities and maintenance staff
Monitor cleanliness, setup quality, and operational efficiency
Proactively identify and address operational issues
Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)
10+ years of hospitality management experience
Proven experience running events or high-volume service operations
Strong knowledge of food service, banquet operations, and guest flow
Experience leading teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Comfort leading client-facing sales tours and conversations
Excellent communication, judgment, and leadership presence
Schedule & Commitment
Evenings and weekends required based on event schedule & sales tours
Flexible availability is essential
This is a hands-on leadership role, not a desk position
Compensation & Growth
$75,000 – $90,000 annual salary (commensurate with experience)
