We are looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant General Manager to join our team!
To be successful as a restaurant Assistant General Manager you should have excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. You should be someone who leads by example, both in how you interact with your team as well as how to support our guests.

Compensation: $60,000 annually
Assistant General Manager Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional guest services, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Visible and hands on in the front of house ensuring a strong presence with FOH staff and customers.
Ensure cash management, tip out tracking, ordering & inventory procedures are completed accurately.
Communicates effectively both in person and via email/text to all team members to ensure that the team is all on the same page.
Help attract patrons by developing and implementing specials and events to be communicated to our marketing team.
Assists in recruiting and retaining staff. As well as ensuring that the restaurant is staffed to properly to meet and exceed sales goals.
Admin projects during down time while on shift, including booking private parties and responding to event inquiries in a timely manner.
Ability to assess where in the restaurant you may be needed at any given time. – whether in the kitchen running food, behind the bar, or assisting with tables.
Establish tasks for employees to ensure a clean and complaint workplace, this includes stocking supplies and maintaining clean restrooms and public spaces, ensuring completion.
Ensure all opening or closing duties are performed (When scheduled for those shifts).
Manage dining reservations.
Assist in resolving customer complaints in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
Cover the duties of team members who are unable to work their shifts.
Facilitate a positive environment and support a safe and productive workplace.
Any other duties deemed necessary to the position.
Assistant General Manager Qualifications/Skills:
Previous experience (4 years minimum) managing in a similar restaurant environment.
Servsafe Management Certification Required, as well as a TABC Certification.
Have strong knowledge of health code, TABC regulations, and food service regulations.
Extensive food and liquor/beer/wine knowledge.
Open availability.
Ability to stand for extended periods. Able to lift, carry, or pull heavy items.
Effective in prioritizing daily tasks while accounting for unforeseen challenges.
Strong leadership, motivational and people skills. Computer/POS literacy
Critical thinker, great interpersonal and communication skills; Focused on being a team player.
Good time-management, financial management, and problem-solving skills.
Authorized to work in the United States, or willingness to obtain prior.
