Think of this as your springboard to becoming a General Manager. AGMs at ESR are members of our management team and are compensated accordingly, with expectations of a standard 45 hour work week. This is a Non-exempt Hourly Management role and does not participate in tip sharing.
ESR does not believe a heavy reliance on traditional gratuities is an equitable or modern way to compensate employees. Accordingly, ESR pays its hourly employees an equitable and agreed-upon hourly rate. While not expected, any gratuities that are left are split amongst hourly employees. To help ensure its best-in-class customer experience and ability to remain competitive, ESR adds a 20% service charge to all checks. Those service charges are retained (100%) by the house.
