    Position Summary:

    Seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Office Manager to support the administrative and operational needs of our store. This role helps ensure smooth day-to-day office functions, assists with employee coordination, and supports store management with essential clerical and financial tasks. The ideal candidate will be dependable, customer-service focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assist the Office Manager in maintaining accurate store records, including employee timekeeping, invoices, and payroll-related documentation.

    Support scheduling and time clock maintenance for store staff.

    Handle daily cash deposits and reconcile register reports with accuracy.

    Maintain and organize office supplies, equipment, and vendor communications.

    Greet visitors and support customer service as needed.

    Prepare internal reports, data entry, and correspondence for store management.

    Help coordinate employee onboarding and training documentation.

    Maintain compliance with store policies and regulatory requirements.

    Provide backup support for other departments and management during peak times or absences.

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business or a related field preferred.

    1–2 years of office or administrative experience, preferably in a retail or grocery environment.

    Basic knowledge of bookkeeping, cash handling, or retail accounting practices.

    Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, POS/back-office systems a plus).

    Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

    Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy under pressure.

    Comfortable working flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
