Responsibilities: • Create the yearly hotel budget in collaboration with the general manager and department heads, and assess and adjust performance throughout the year to stay profitable • Propose adjustments that will increase hotel profitability by assessing department performance and identifying issue areas • Ensure that all local, state, and federal rules and regulations, as well as any corporate or brand-established policies and practices, are followed • Empower the human resources department to increase efforts for turnover management, employee motivation, and employee growth and retention by providing support • Assist general manager in the day-to-day operation of the hotel in maintaining all standards of guest service Qualifications: • Must have at least 3 or more years of experience in the hospitality field • This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor's degree with preference given to those with a hospitality management degree • A proven record of experience managing a team, preferably in a hospitality role, is required • Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills • Proven customer service experience as a manager; strong guest-focused mentality
