Bustos Capital is a growing and dynamic privately owned real estate-based portfolio, and we are seeking a dedicated and reliable Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing maintenance support for our self-storage complexes, multi-family, and commercial properties. Your work will be crucial in ensuring our properties are well-maintained and safe. Hours: 15-20 hours per week Monday – Friday: offered with flexible timing Saturday – Sunday: CLOSED Compensation $30/hr Responsibilities: • Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing, electrical, appliances, and grounds maintenance. • Respond to and resolve maintenance requests from tenants in a timely and professional manner. • Conduct property inspections and identify any necessary repairs or maintenance. • Prepare vacant units for new tenants, including light repairs, painting, and cleaning. • Preserve and respect resident confidentiality and privacy. • Interact positively with residents and the community. • Work with the property management to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal policies. • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and work orders. • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. • Take additional maintenance requests as assigned. Qualifications: • Proven experience in general handyman services or a related field. • Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently. • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen attention to detail. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Must be reliable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team. • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US. • Residing in Salt Lake County is highly preferred for this role. • A clean criminal background is required. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Compensation: $30 hourly
