  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for an Assistant Manager of Analytics and Insights, Pro Channel to join our NYX Professional Makeup team in the Consumer Products Division of L’Oreal USA. This role will leverage channel insights through data mining to modernize and/or digitalize go to market model including optimizing order process and tools, broker and wholesaler capabilities, and sales call protocols. Additional responsibilities will include in-store visits, Broker and Wholesaler detailing, and internal and external collaborations.

    KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Explore best in class DTC customer experience from within and outside of the beauty industry to introduce test and learn opportunities to the CPD Pro business
    • Accountable for understanding and recommending best-in-class site functionality based on competitive analysis and iterative testing of site experiences directly benefitting and improving a customers’ online experience with the brand
    • Collaborate with corporate teams (Corporate CDMO Center of Excellence, and Digital IT) and Digital Solutions (tech, SEO, analytics, and testing) to ensure adequate corporate support for DTC initiatives from both a strategic and technical standpoint
    • Develop an optimal digital product roadmap, based on data-driven insights and customer feedback, to ensure a smooth experience for our customers to help facilitate the order process, educate, and inspire
    • Support the evaluation of third-party solutions relative to business requirements and processes and guide formulation of solution recommendations
    • Stay up to date on emerging technologies/solution trends and contribute to the advancement of digital commerce footprint
    • Manage execution of strategic plan for brokers and wholesalers optimizing sales fundamentals to deliver brand and financial goals
    • Develop reporting for all initiatives and key opportunities (i.e. top door analysis, geo mapping, new item and hero item evaluation)
    • Manage forecasts for channel with monthly shipment updates
    • Create data driven standard assortment for Channel and develop and implement plan to standardize across channel
    • Work with multifunctional team to develop next generation Pro fixture for in store
    • Assess ongoing fixtures and updates for continual improvement of in-store experience

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree from a four year accredited university
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel
    • 3+ years of experience in Omni Channel Sales
    • Advantages to have for role:
      • experience in a ecommerce role
      • Knowledge of DTC ecommerce platforms
      • Cosmetics / Beauty industry experience
