    Assistant Store Manager – Sales & Team Leadership

    The Role

    We are hiring an Assistant Store Manager focused on sales execution, associate coaching, and customer engagement. Our Operations Manager owns inventory, schedules, and logistics. This role owns sales behavior, floor leadership, and results. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys being on the sales floor, coaching people in real time, and driving measurable improvement

    Primary Responsibilities

    Sales Leadership (Primary Focus)

    Coach associates to:

    Ask better diagnostic questions

    Present complete solutions

    Training formal and informal

    Consistently offer and sell key focus objectives

    Lead by example on the sales floor

    Reinforce daily and weekly sales priorities

    Support retail and commercial sales initiatives

    Step in to close sales when needed

    Drive a professional, confident, sales-first culture

    Team Development & Supervision

    Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training Store Associates

    Provide direct, in-the-moment coaching and feedback

    Hold associates accountable to sales standards

    Delegate tasks and validate completion

    Act as manager-on-duty in the Store Manager’s absence

    Operational Support

    Support merchandising, inventory accuracy, and store standards

    Assist with special orders, services, and fulfillment

    Own RMA and vendor return processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance

    Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards

    Support loss prevention and shrink control

    Coordinate effectively with the Operations Manager

    Technical Responsibilities

    Test and install automotive batteries

    Cut and program keys and key fobs

    Perform basic and advanced device repairs

    Become a recognized leader in phone and device repair for Samsung, Apple, and Google devices, supporting training, quality, and best practices

    What This Role Is NOT

    Not a back-office or inventory-only role

    Not a passive key-holder position

    Not a “sit in the office” job

    If you don’t like coaching people or driving sales conversations, this role is not a fit.

    Location & Travel Expectations

    Primary worksite: Pace, FL

    Routine travel and shifts with the Pensacola team are expected

    Reliable transportation required

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Minimum three years of retail experience w/ one year in a supervisory or leadership position

    Sales experience with coaching or leadership responsibility preferred

    Comfortable holding peers accountable

    Strong verbal and written communication skills

    Metrics-driven and results-oriented

    Ability to work flexible hours, including peak seasons

    Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred

    Punctuality is a must

    While performing the responsibilities of this position, the employee will occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions and the risk of electrical shock.

    The level of noise in the working environment is moderate.

    Protective clothing and/or equipment used in this position includes goggles, gloves, and steel-toed shoes.
