Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate all administrative duties and office procedures, ensuring the workplace operates smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include planning and scheduling meetings, paying invoices, negotiating with vendors, handling client issues, emailing correspondence and maintaining office equipment. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to implement systems and procedures.
Responsibilities
Maintain calendar of appointments and meetings
Design the office layout with efficiency and organization in mind
Collaborate with human resources to onboard, update, and maintain office procedures
Maintain office equipment in good working order with the assistance of the IT department
Pay and record invoices, keeping track of financial data
Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors, service providers, develop and maintain clientele
Accurately maintain general office budget
Quarterly travel to Corporate Office/Indiana
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED required, some college preferred but not required
1-3 years' work experience considered as a Manager/Supervisor or similar position
1-3 years' work experience in home and healthcare is preferred but not required
Understanding of office equipment, systems, and procedures
Skilled in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Empathetic and a good listener...
Must have good, clean driving record and backgrounds
