    Role Overview

    This is not a desk job. And it’s not just a training role.

    As the Assistant Manager & Coach, you’ll act as the right hand to the Club Manager—helping drive sales, support members, and deliver high-quality coaching on the floor.

    You’ll be involved in every stage of the member experience: from the first conversation, to getting them started, to keeping them engaged and progressing over time.

    This is a hybrid role for someone who can connect, lead, and execute—someone who is just as comfortable running a training session as they are handling a sales conversation or solving a member issue.

    What You’ll Own

    Member Experience & Retention Be a go-to presence in the gym. Build relationships, support member needs, and create an environment where people feel comfortable, supported, and consistent.

    Sales & Lead Follow-Up Handle outbound calls, follow up with leads, book consultations, and confidently guide prospects into memberships and training.

    Consultations & Conversions Run appointments that uncover goals, build trust, and present clear, personalized solutions.

    Coaching & Training Lead 1:1 and small group sessions. Deliver structured, effective workouts while reinforcing habits that drive long-term results.

    Day-to-Day Support Help keep the gym running smoothly—clean, organized, and aligned. Support team communication and overall energy.

    What We’re Looking For

    Strong communicator who builds trust quickly

    Comfortable with both sales conversations and coaching sessions

    Self-motivated with a high level of ownership

    Positive, professional, and consistent

    Able to manage multiple responsibilities without losing attention to detail

    Genuinely invested in helping people improve their lives

    Qualifications

    18 years or older

    Sales experience or willingness to learn and be coached

    Personal training certification (or actively pursuing one) preferred

    CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)

    Availability for flexible hours (mornings, evenings, weekends)

    Comfortable with basic systems and technology
