    CRAWFORD’S SOCIAL is seeking a positive, customer-service orientated individual with proven staff management skills to join our management team. The assistant manager leads all team members in day-to-day operations and assists the general manager with various administrative tasks and staff development including hiring and training. Applicants should have open availability and be willing to work a combination of day and night shifts. Depending on the season, one may expect to work shifts on the floor serving guests and overseeing operations, with occasional shifts devoted to office/administrative duties.

    ACCOUNTABLE TO: General Manager

    KNOWLEDGE:

    Thoroughly understand and perform all duties assigned to you by your general manager

    Use good tact, good manners, and mature judgment in dealing with guests in all situations

    Get familiar with and operate POS, phones and job specific systems.

    Working knowledge and service of menu items and beverage program.

    ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

    Execute store operations (opening, mid shifts and closings) during scheduled shifts, prioritizing and delegating tasks among team members.

    Responsible for proper cash handling including safe access, cash balancing, deposits, cash drops and accurate tip distribution.

    Creation of weekly staff schedules and track staff certifications.

    Participate in the interviewing/hiring process, assessment of staffing needs and staff development.

    Prepare new hire paperwork and conduct orientations.

    Communicate regularly with the team regarding products, service, and overall needs.

    Participates in disciplinary conversations with staff in order to maintain a positive work environment and keep morale high.

    Maintain high performance of service and courtesy

    Leadership and human resources management skills, able to direct and monitor the work of others.

    Follow all procedures and policies set forth by the company, Health Department, ABC and all safety regulations.

    Duties to be performed as assigned by your management team

    Ability to lift 30 lbs.

    Can stand for the duration of an 8 hour shift.
