    Job Summary If you enjoy making hungry people happy and thrive in a busy, family-friendly, team-oriented atmosphere, then you should work at Charleys Frederick County Square. We are seeking an experienced restaurant manager, shift lead, or supervisor to grow with us as we open our first Charleys Cheesesteaks and Wings restaurant. This is a great ground-floor opportunity to become the store's General Manager. If you can serve guests with a smile, effectively train and lead a diverse team, and do things the "Charleys Way," then you should apply for the Full-Time Assistant Manager position.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Master all positions (including grill, toppings, prep, etc.) and menu items, including 13 Charleys cheesesteaks, real-fruit lemonades, wings, fries, milkshakes, and limited-time items.

    Communicate clearly, quickly, and politely with team members so our team serves guests a perfect order every time.

    Quickly and respectfully resolve customer issues and order discrepancies.

    Train new and existing employees in safe food-handling procedures.

    Ensure team members arrive at work on time and complete all assigned duties during their shift.

    Ensure food is prepared quickly and accurately to delight customers while meeting restaurant, health, and safety rules.

    Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operated safely to deliver consistent, safe meals to guests while adhering to all health and safety standards.

    Enforce uniform and hygiene standards in accordance with Charleys, state, and local laws and policies.

    Look for opportunities to increase the team's performance and customer happiness.

    Perform opening and closing procedures in accordance with Charleys and the store's policies and procedures.

    Maintain labor, food, and controllable costs to ensure continued success for the store and its employees.

    Conduct daily and weekly inventory counts and assist with product ordering to ensure the complete menu is offered at all times.

    Ensure all orders are entered into the register, even discounted orders.

    Be friendly and attentive to every customer's needs to create a memorable experience.

    Assist with marketing and promotional efforts to bring awareness to the community.

    Interact with vendors and service personnel professionally to ensure the highest standards of product and equipment safety.

    Promptly informs senior management and owners of all problems or unusual matters of significance.

    Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested by senior management and owners.

    Requirements:

    ServSafe or Food Handler's Certification.

    At least 2 years of restaurant management or leadership experience.

    Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.

    Able to work safely around hot and cold cooking equipment.

    Act with honesty and integrity that promote Charleys and the store's culture and values.

    Correctly reads orders from a monitor.

    Safely handles raw, frozen, and cooked food products.

    Completes hands-on training and occasional assigned coursework on a computer, tablet, or cell phone.

    Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure.

    Be respectful and professional to guests, vendors, and teammates.

    Arrives at work on time.

    Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

    Clean, neat, and professional appearance.

    Must be 18 years or older.
