    Job Summary:

    The Assistant Manager is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for supporting boutique operations, managing the Experience Guide team, and ensuring consistent guest service aligned with The NOW brand truths. This role directly supervises Experience Guides and assists the District General Manager in driving boutique performance, team development, and operational excellence.

    Responsibilities:

    Supervise, coach, and motivate Experience Guides to deliver exceptional guest service

    Lead daily front desk operations, including check-ins, appointment flow, retail sales, and boutique upkeep

    Conduct team training and ongoing performance coaching in alignment with brand standards

    Support team hiring, onboarding, and scheduling

    Oversee enhancement and membership sales performance and support conversion efforts

    Lead by example in retail, gift card, and membership sales

    Ensure boutique presentation, cleanliness, and functionality reflect brand standards at all times

    Address guest concerns and team issues with professionalism and positivity

    Partner with General Manager on boutique events, community outreach, and cross-functional support

    Maintain shift coverage, complete opening/closing duties, and support all operational checklists

    Requirements:

    Leadership or supervisory experience in a retail, spa, hospitality, or wellness environment

    Passion for guest service, team development, and delivering elevated experiences

    Ability to coach others while managing time effectively in a fast-paced setting

    Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

    Confidence using booking systems, POS platforms, and sales reporting tools

    Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

    Must be a team player and lead by example
