    We are seeking a motivated Assistant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced retail store. This role ensures all aspects of the store run smoothly, including customer service, inventory control, and sales. You will foster a positive and welcoming environment for customers while supporting and developing a productive team. Reporting to the Store Manager, this role is integral to achieving operational excellence and providing an exceptional shopping experience. Responsibilities: • Keep the Store Manager informed about operational updates, team performance, and any store-related challenges • Monitor and mitigate potential security risks, including internal theft and shoplifting • Evaluate employee performance, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, and support professional growth • Lead recruitment, hiring, and training efforts to build a skilled, diverse, and motivated team • Assist in developing and executing corrective action plans for operational issues Qualifications: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with employees, customers, and management • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate team members and ensure accountability • High school diploma or equivalent, or ability to obtain through The Excel Center • Experience fostering a positive and productive work environment • Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screening Compensation: $17 hourly
