We are seeking a motivated Assistant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced retail store. This role ensures all aspects of the store run smoothly, including customer service, inventory control, and sales. You will foster a positive and welcoming environment for customers while supporting and developing a productive team. Reporting to the Store Manager, this role is integral to achieving operational excellence and providing an exceptional shopping experience. Responsibilities: • Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations and team success • Participate in regular meetings to review store performance and contribute to improvement strategies • Identify and respond to potential security concerns, including internal theft and shoplifting • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day store operations, including sales floor activities, merchandising, inventory control, and customer service • Assist in developing and executing corrective action plans for operational issues Qualifications: • Solid customer service abilities, including resolving concerns and maintaining customer satisfaction • High school diploma or equivalent, or ability to obtain through The Excel Center • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance for travel to different job sites • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate team members and ensure accountability • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with staff, customers, and leadership Compensation: $17 hourly
