We are seeking a motivated Assistant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced retail store. This role ensures all aspects of the store run smoothly, including customer service, inventory control, and sales. You will foster a positive and welcoming environment for customers while supporting and developing a productive team. Reporting to the Store Manager, this role is integral to achieving operational excellence and providing an exceptional shopping experience. Responsibilities: • Identify and respond to potential security concerns, including internal theft and shoplifting • Foster collaboration across departments to meet store objectives and improve operational efficiency • Maintain clear communication with the Store Manager regarding operations, staff performance, and store challenges • Participate in regular meetings to review store performance and contribute to improvement strategies • Enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for both employees and customers Qualifications: • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance for travel to different job sites • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with staff, customers, and leadership • Proven supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and hold team members accountable • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening • Solid customer service abilities, including resolving concerns and maintaining customer satisfaction Compensation: $17 hourly
