Hiring: Assistant Manager / Lead Mover – $20–$24/hr + Tips

Part-Time | 10–25 Hours/Week | Growth Opportunity

We’re hiring an Assistant Manager / Lead Mover to help run day-to-day operations and support our growing team at Pink Zebra Moving of Ann Arbor.

This is a hands-on leadership role — part office, part field — perfect for someone who wants to grow into a management position while staying active.

No two days are the same — you’ll help coordinate jobs, support crews, and step in on moves when needed.

Pay & Schedule

$20–$24/hour + tips (based on experience)

Higher starting pay available for experienced movers/leaders

Expected 10–15 office hours/week

Additional hours available on moving jobs (up to 20–25 total hours/week)

Typically Monday–Thursday + Saturday mornings

On-call for job support as needed

What You’ll Do

Help coordinate daily moving jobs and crew schedules

Support movers and drivers in the field

Step in as a driver or mover when needed

Assist with on-site estimates and customer interactions

Ensure trucks, equipment, and supplies are ready

Maintain a clean and organized shop/office

Help deliver a high-quality customer experience

Valid driver’s license

Able to lift 50+ lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
