    Location: Cobblestone Inn & Suites Springfield, CO Job Type: Full-Time

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and guest-focused Assistant Manager to join our hotel team. This role serves as a key leader in daily hotel operations, helping ensure exceptional guest service, smooth front desk operations, and strong team performance. The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing hotel functions and assumes leadership responsibilities in their absence.

    Guest Service & Operations

    Provide outstanding guest service and maintain a welcoming hotel environment

    Assist in overseeing front desk operations across all shifts

    Ensure reservations, arrivals, guest requests, and in-house guest needs are handled accurately and efficiently

    Monitor and respond to front desk emails and guest communications

    Leadership & Team Development

    Train and mentor front desk team members

    Assist with shift coverage, scheduling, and staffing needs

    Help maintain a positive team culture and lead by example

    Administrative & Financial Duties

    Assist with labor reporting and operational reporting

    Support invoice verification and accounts payable processes

    Maintain sales and operational reports for accuracy

    Assist with direct bill account management and reconciliations

    Help manage inventory and ordering of hotel supplies

    Hotel Operations

    Conduct room inspections as needed

    Support group bookings and contract coordination

    Assist with month-end reporting

    Oversee pool maintenance logs and staff training (if applicable)

    Help ensure hotel standards, safety, and brand expectations are maintained at all times

    Qualifications

    Previous hotel, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred

    Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus

    Strong communication and organizational skills

    Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment

    Computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel management systems

    Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
