    Join a growing, fast-paced, and fun team at UPS Store #2579! We are looking to fill a full-time, assistant manager position.

    Core Responsibilities to be Shared with Manager

    Operational Leadership: Manage daily, on-site operations and ensure compliance with franchise policies.

    Staff Management: Train, schedule, coach, and supervise team members, fostering a high-performance environment.

    Customer Service & Sales: Deliver and oversee "world-class" customer service, resolving complaints and boosting sales of products and services.

    Product Handling: Process customer shipments, returns, and expert packing; operate POS systems for transactions.

    Print Services: Assist with printing, copying, and finishing services.

    Inventory & Security: Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies, and maintain a clean, organized store.

    Reporting: Help the Store Manager with financial reports, cost control, and expense tracking.

    Required Qualifications & Skills

    Experience: At least one year of supervisory experience in retail, logistics, or a similar environment.

    Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college or degree preferred.

    Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites (for printing).

    Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs, and stand for long periods.

    Key Competencies: Strong communication, organizational, and team leadership abilities.

    Notary: Have or be willing to complete public notary training.

    Typical Working Conditions

    Full-time, often requiring flexible hours including weekends.

    Environment is fast-paced, balancing customer transactions with administrative duties.
