Assistant Hotel Manager
Kingsail Resort, Marathon, Florida
As the Assistant Manager at Kingsail Resort, you will support and assist the General Manager in supervising day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maximizing profitability. You will assist in managing staff, adhering to budgets and coordinating special events while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure guest satisfaction
Assist in managing and training staff, including assisting with hiring and scheduling
Act as Head of Housekeeping, coordinating with the housekeeping, maintenance and front desk departments to ensure smooth operations
Maintain and monitor hotel inventory and records to ensure accurate financial statements.
Assist in creating and implementing strategies for increasing revenue and occupancy
Coordinate and supervise any special events, meetings, and/or conferences
Ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety by maintaining environmental standards.
Maintain compliance with hotel policies, safety regulations, and local and U.S. labor laws
Provide exceptional customer service to guests and address any concerns or complaints
Skills and Qualifications
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure
Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and hotel management software (CloudBeds, etc.)
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Education and Experience Requirements
At least two years of experience in hospitality management or any related field.
At least three years of experience in hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning services.
Associates degree or accredited certificate in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
