The Emergency Services Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the Emergency Services Manager with the production and oversight of all emergency services and environmental projects in accordance with First Atlantic Restoration and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Lead and support a team of mitigation technicians under the direction of the Emergency Services Manager, ensuring all work meets FAR standards.
Oversee the execution of projects in alignment with priorities and expectations set by the Emergency Services Manager.
This is a hybrid position, requiring daily work in the field, as well as occasional work in the office.
Conduct site inspections, assess damage, and develop mitigation plans.
Assist the Emergency Services Manager with administering schedule and resource allocation to ensure prompt and efficient service.
Coordinate with the Asset Manager to ensure equipment, supplies, and vehicles are properly maintained.
Enforce safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Ensure the team’s compliance with documentation standards on all projects.
Maintain communication with customers, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and internal team members.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources, reporting performance and variances to the Emergency Services Manager.
Train and mentor technicians, especially lead technicians, on best practices, safety procedures and customer service.
Address performance and behavioral issues through coaching and redirection, escalating concerns to the Emergency Services Manager when appropriate.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-years experience in emergency services
A current driver’s license with a clean driving record
Excellent verbal, written, telephonic, and interpersonal communication skills
IICRC Certification in Water Damage Restoration
Proficient in MS Office, Xactimate, DocuSketch and MICA
Excellent knowledge of mitigation and construction processes and equipment
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple people and projects while working under deadlines
Ability to work and communicate effectively with all FAR team members and departments
